Momiji Health Care Society Fundraising Concert
Thank you to Karen, Sora, and Stella for performing at Momiji on Sunday, September 29th with their wonderful music and nostalgic medley of Japanese melodies. And thank you for donating your small honorarium back to Momiji.
Thank you to the vendors for bringing delicious Japanese food and delicate origami jewelry for all to enjoy. Thank you to the many Momiji volunteers for making the afternoon a success. Thank you to Mayumi for donating raffle prizes for Japonica and Kimono Remake. Thank you to Marion for donating bottles of exclusive Windrush wines and a bottle of Kahlua with glasses. And last but not least, thank you to the many attendees for their donations to the raffle and donation box. Almost $1K was donated to the Momiji Retirement Home.

“Send Sora to Poland” Fundraiser

Thank you to the patrons, donors and friends who attended concerts and donated to the “Send Sora to Poland” fundraiser to enable Sora to attend the International Georg Philipp Telemann Violin Competition in Poznan, Poland in June 2024.
With your generosity, eventsMarion.ca was able to gift Sora $5K to help defray expenses allowing Sora to accept the invitation to participate in the competition and go to Poland with his mother. - Marion
